Nancy Lee Smith (Deese)

Nancy Lee Smith, a lifelong resident of Turnerville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at her daughters’ home in Turnerville surrounded by her family. Anyone that knew Nancy, knew her love of Elvis Presley, her love of her daughter, and her love of her cats/dogs. Nancy had one of the biggest hearts you would ever find and a charisma personality that you would never forget. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Ray Mashburn Smith; her mother, Virginia Lee Smith; and her brothers, Dennis Ray Smith (Minnie Smith) and Edgar Hall Smith (Linda Smith). Those that are left to cherish her memory include her only child, Amber Lee Deese (Tammy Deese); her brother, Danny Roy Smith (Pam Smith); her best friend/cousin, Doris Smith; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Nancy will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends held at a later date.
