Nicole Leigh Rutherford

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Nicole Rutherford, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on September 20th, 2025, at the age of 49.

Born on August 15th, 1976, in Mobile Alabama, Nicole lived a life filled with kindness, strength, and most importantly deep unconditional love. She will be remembered for her remarkable resilience, her wonderful sense of humor, and her extraordinarily unique and positive personality.  The ways she touched the lives of those around her are countless.  Nicole never met a stranger and anyone to have been blessed to be a part of her life was better for it.

Nicole dedicated her life to adventure.  She was a free spirit and always looking for her next experience.  As a mother, grandmother and dog mom she cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren as well as her companion and best friend Exodus.

She is survived by her three sons Johnathan, Kaleb, and Nicholas, her brothers Kenneth and Matthew, and her father Ronnie.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her to which there are many.

A service to honor her life will be held on October 1st  from 10am-12pm at Mobile Funeral Home (690 Zeigler Cir W, Mobile Al 36608).  There will also be a celebration of life afterwards at The Vision Church (221 Industrial Pkwy Saraland Al, 36571) food will be served and balloons will be released honoring Nicole.  Friends and family are welcome to attend and share in remembering her remarkable life.

Her love, wisdom, and warmth will never be forgotten.
