Norman Tuttle Obituary

Norman “Keith” Tuttle, a resident of Chickasaw, Alabama, and a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at home peacefully with his wife Nancy. He was 66 years old.

Mr. Tuttle retired from Winn-Dixie in 2020 where he was employed for the last 16 years. Keith started his career in 1972 at Winn-Dixie in Summerville, SC. He never met a stranger and loved talking to his customers and giving them great recipes in the Meat Department. From Store Manager to Market Manager, he was known as one of the very best in his trade.

Keith enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved nascar racing and his favorite driver was Kyle Larson after Dale passed away and Dale Jr. retired. Mr. Tuttle loved the outdoors, especially going fishing and boating with his best friend Tony Reid. They talked on the phone every day. Johnny Devine was also a lifelong friend to Keith.

Keith is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Tuttle; mother, Wilma Tuttle; sisters, Melba Tuttle Metts and Cheryl Tuttle McDowell, all from SC; and son, Daniel Tuttle from Bay Minette, Alabama.

Those left to cherish Keith's memory include his wife of 29 years, Nancy K. Tuttle, they were together 33 years; son, Ryan Keith Tuttle (Savanna); brother, Marc Tuttle of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren, Braxton Tuttle, Dawson Tuttle, and Madison Tuttle, all from Bay Minette, Alabama; and four nieces and five nephews.

Keith touched so many lives with his kind heart and infectious smile. He knew where he was going when he passed and knew the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. He could not wait for the day he got to see his son Daniel and other loved ones again. He will be forever missed and loved.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church in Chickasaw on May 6, 2023 from 5pm-7pm. Eulogy will be held at 5:30pm.
