Patrick Love Obituary

Patrick Walter Love, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Walter Love. He passed away on August 8, 2024 at home, surrounded by his family. He was 73 years old. Pat lived in Mobile, AL but was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He lived in both places throughout his life. He was employed as a deckhand and later, a first mate on a tugboat on the Mississippi River. During most of his working career he was an electrician. Until he retired, Pat worked for several beverage bottling companies, keeping the lines running that produced many soda products Pat had many hobbies in his life, but he loved motorcycles the most. He has had many of them and rode as often as he could, even riding the “Tail of the Dragon” in Robbinsville, NC, twice. He has dragon tattoo on each forearm as a memento of each ride.Patrick was a lover of music. He played guitar and sang very well. He wrote some original songs that most of his family and friends know, word for word, and would sing along with. We all loved our get-togethers when he would entertain us.
Pat also loved flying remote controlled airplanes. It was a hobby that he put a lot of time in to and belonged to club for enthusiasts just like him. He has many planes he customized himself. He was also a hunter and loved to go bow hunting. Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Waunetta Love, his sister, Susan Love, and his brothers, John Love, Michael Love and Walter Love III. Also, his nephew Tony Tulo. Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings Karen Love, Christine Tulo, Carol Love and Robert Love. He will be missed greatly by his son Jason and his wife Jessica, and his grandchildren, Chevy, Elijah, Alyssa and Sara Love. And his daughters Tiffany Love and Reina Garcia and their families, and their brother Nathan Love and his family.
Pat’s nephews, Steven Tulo, Jr, Christopher Tulo, Juan Vega, Angelo Vega, Jeremy Love and Ryan Love will all miss playing guitar and singing with him. His nieces, Wendy Armour, Angela Tulo, Adriana Vega and Jennifer Love Adams will all cherish their beloved Uncle Pat.
