Patrick Roy McKean

Patrick Roy McKean, age 82, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He attended Springhill College and graduated from the University of South Alabama. While in college, he was a member of the South Alabama Golf Team. Patrick owned and operated M&S Dental Lab for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church and The Country Club of Mobile. Patrick was also a member of the Mobile County Sherriff Department Flotilla. He also enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Mary Sneeringer and Louis Leonard McKean; his daughter, Theresa McKean McKinney; his grandson, Mark Lewis Tapia Jr.; and his brothers, Leonard Louis, Francis (Jerry) Jerald Sr., and Dr. Joseph (Mike) Michael. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Joyce McKean Tapia; his special friend, Judy Alexander Cody; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial mass will be celebrated Friday, May 21, 2021 from St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church at 1:00pm. Visitation will begin at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in The Catholic Cemetery.
