Randy Heddin Obituary

Randy Troy Heddin, 69, a lifelong Texan who had recently moved to D’Iberville, Mississippi, passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2026. He was born on July 9, 1956, in Lamesa, Texas.

Randy was the son of Betford Troy Heddin and Billie Sue Heddin, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Cheri Jones. Randy built a life rooted in hard work and dedication through a career in construction and consulting. After retiring, he embraced the life he had worked so hard for, enjoying his retirement dream through visits to the casino, relaxing days at the beach, and cruises whenever he could.

He also had a deep love for music and found joy in playing the guitar, a passion that brought him peace and was often shared with those closest to him.

Randy is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Kathy Heddin; his three daughters, Christie Richardson and husband Herb Richardson, Jessica Stephenson, and Amanda Rodriguez and husband Chris Rodriguez; his sister, Valarie Lee; as well as 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to his life.

Randy’s family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and resting in the presence of the Lord.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate the life of Randy Troy Heddin.
