Rhonda Renee Hudson, 58, a longtime resident of Mobile and Washington County, AL passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023.
Rhonda graduated Clarke County High School in 1983 and went on to receive her LPN License. She loved nursing, but after becoming a mother, she had finally found her true calling. Tyler was the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Robert McLain, Sr.
She is survived by her son, John "Tyler" Hudson, mother, Diane Odom McLain, siblings, Marriane McLain, JR McLain, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Rhonda was a longtime member of Millry Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed singing, crafting, and enjoyed all forms of triva and always knew all the answers. She truly was one of the most kind, loving and thoughtful person and great friend.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from Redemption Church, 1251 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571, from 10 am until Service time at 11 am. Burial will be in Alabama State Veterans Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Harold Odom, Tommy Whitten, Johnny Whitten, Tim Mills, Ross Odom, and Alex Odom. Honary pallbearers will be Dennis Odom, Eric Reynolds, Dennis Ray Odom, Chad Odom, and Brian Coaker.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and the Mitchell Cancer Institute for their compassiante and loving care of Rhonda.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to the Mitchell Cancer Institute in Rhonda's memory.
