Richard Shane Bohannon, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022. He was 55 years old.
Shane enjoyed living on the wilder side of life, but he also loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed cookouts and being on or near the water. Shane loved maintaining his home and decorating for the holidays. He cherished the time he spent at Haven Woods Baptist Church especially the connection he made with Brother Ricky Watt.
Shane is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Cole Bohannon and Linda Melvina Walker (William, Bebe, Walker); paternal grandparents, E.C. and Annie Mae Bohannon; maternal grandfather, John Vaughn; uncles, Gerald, Percy, and Buddy Bohannon; and his aunts, Jerri Howington, Dorothy Shaw, Louis Coleman and Carolyn (Kahki) Long.
Those left to cherish his memory include his maternal grandmother, Katie Booth; uncle, Alton Vaughn (Mark); aunt, Shelby Sessions (Gerald); daughter, Candice Tingle (Jonah); three grandchildren, Karley, Gunner, and Madisyn; stepdaughter, Maggie Albritton (Scott); stepson, Frank Knight (Tabatha); brothers, Darryl Bohannon (Julie), Raymond Moore (Beth) and Aaron Wilkerson; sisters, Kimberly Anglin, Stacey Bailey (Johnny Tillman), Barbara Upshaw (Clint), and Crystal Bohannon ( Larry Eagan); stepmother, Mary Anne Bohannon; and many many nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved him.
