Rita Irene Barbour

Rita Irene Barbour, age 75, a resident of Coden, Alabama, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 13, 2021. She enjoyed reading, going to church, and spending time with her family. Rita is preceded in death by her mother and father, Sophia and Jake Sprinkle; her son, Robert Earl Barbour, Jr; her great aunt and uncle, Ruby and Daniel Barber; and her brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 56 years, Robert Earl Barbour; her children, Robert, Uneeda, and Bridgot; her grandchildren, Taylor Barbour, Sophie Dees, Jessika Dees, and Jacklen Randall; and many other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021 from 9:00am to 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Bayou La Batre, 13500 North Wintzell Avenue, with funeral services at 10:00am in the church.
