Robert Aubrey Lane

Robert Aubrey Lane, a native of Mobile, Alabama, was born Friday, December 7, 1970. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 51 years old. He is the son of William H. Lane, Sr., from Atmore, Alabama, and Shirley A. Lane, from Eufaula, Alabama.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his twin brother, Joseph Hardy Lane, from crib death at 6 weeks after birth; father, William H. Lane Sr.; sisters; Sheryl M. McWilliams and Kathleen T. Dunn; and his brother, Edward D. Lane.

Aubrey is survived by his mother, Shirley Lane; wife, Tracey Sanford; daughters, Destiny Lane, Barbara Lane, Heather (Levi) Hendrickson, Kazandra (Chris) Lyons, and Sabrina Holdeman; sons, Robert Lane and Mark Partain Sr.; brothers, William (Bill) Lane, Scott Lane and Michael Lane; sisters, Lenora Mest, Peggy Broadhead, and Patricia Martin; grandkids, Blaine, Charlie and Francie Mae Lyons, Nevaeh Anthony, Alaila and Letha Hendrickson; brother and sister-in-laws, Michael Charpentier, Barbara Lane, and Charles (Chip) Martin; nieces and nephews, Dayon Lane, Will Mest, Jr., Tereasa Mest, Ciera Martines, Faith Martines, Hope Martines, Charity Martines, Michelle Broadhead, Darion Ward, Samantha Broadhead, Emily Lane, Chris Rosson, Lane Martin, Noah Jenwright, and Zoey Fowler; and many other relatives and friends.

Aubrey had an open heart and cared deeply for his family. He was a fierce and loyal guardian to those he loved. His doors were always open to help, even if he didn't have much.
