Sarah Marie Davenport, age, 63 a native and life long resident of Mobile, AL passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at a local hospital.
She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. David L and Dorothy Whitley, sister, Barbara Whitley, and brother, David B. Whitley
She is survived by her husband, Alex Davenport, son, Matthew A. Davenport, brothers, Timothy R. Whitley (Lilia), Stephen L. Whitley (Daphne), sisters, Rebecca A. Santos (Miguel), Elizabeth D. Emerson, 3 nephews, 3 nieces, 1 great nephew, 3 great nieces, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Funeral Home & Crematory with visitation from 10 am until service time.
