Sgt. Vance Phillips, Sr.

Sgt. Vance Phillips, Sr.,, age 93, passed away September 6, 2022. He was born on June 1,1929, to J.B and Lula Phillips.

Sgt. Phillips is preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Phillips, and their son, David Phillips.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Vance Phillips, Jr. (Cathy); daughter, Lynne Reinhart (Rusty); nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. 

Sgt. Phillips served in the Army for 22 years. He served two tours in Viet Nam where he received the Bronze Star.  He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for the last 65 years. Sgt. Phillips dedicated his life to God, his family, and his country.

He will be greatly missed.
