Sherry Ann Talbert

Sherry Ann Talbert, 70, of Wilmer, AL passed away on August 4th, 2021, after a difficult battle with cancer. Sherry was born on October 16, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Alfred Manning, Sr and Mary Catherine Manning in Mobile, AL. Sherry was widowed by her late husband of 19 years, Lynn “Dwayne” Talbert. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephanie Ann Woodson; brothers, Clarence” Alford” Manning (wife Marilyn) and Paul Bernie Manning (wife Kimberly); sister, Brenda “Darlene” Sommers (husband Bill); and many other family and friends

Sherry was retired from the Mobile County Public School System; she enjoyed her work, but most of all enjoyed all the children to brighten her day. After retirement, Sherry spent most of her days with husband, taking care of the home, or just relaxing in front of the TV, but what she enjoyed most was shopping and eating Chinese food.

Anyone who knew Sherry enjoyed her smile, fun-but sometimes wild attitude, and her spirit. She will be remembered by many.

A visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm Friday, August 6, 2021, followed by the 1pm memorial service in the chapel at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory.
