Shirley Ann Buckner

Shirley Ann Buckner, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021.  She was 78 years old.  

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and cooking. She loved to go shopping for small but thoughtful gifts for anyone lucky enough to have known her.  Shirley was a remarkably generous woman who relentlessly looked for ways to make people around her happy.   She was a native of Gadsden, Alabama, but lived much of her life in Chattanooga, Tennessee, before moving to Mobile.  

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Cora Clements, as well as her siblings, Edna, John, Catherine, Dorothy, and Robert.     

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Terry and Robert, as well as their wives, Genevieve and Sandra.  Shirley will also be missed by her grandchildren, Alex, Shelby, and Brittney, and her great grandchildren, Cooper, Dacy, Holden and Brock.  The family will be remembering this special woman in a private ceremony.
