Stephen Patrick Burke

Stephen Patrick Burke, a native of Algiers, Louisiana, and a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on September 2, 2022. He was 70 years old. Stephen served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army. He enjoyed reading his Bible, playing guitar, writing stories and music, and shopping online.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Doris Burke, and his niece, Nina Marie Cefalu.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Kathlene Burke-Monju; niece, Ashlee Lynn Monju; nephew, Brandon Jude Monju; great niece, Jade St. John; great nephew, Nathan Bowley; numerous cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30pm Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery.
