Timothy Wayne Wilson, born August 10, 1974, passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 50.
On May 27, 2025, Timothy was saved, placing his faith in Jesus Christ. As written in John 11:25 — Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”
Timothy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Nettie J. Wilson, and his brother, Michael R. Wilson. He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, with whom he shared 33 wonderful years together. He is also survived by his father, Norman Wilson; his brother, Jeff Wilson; his sons, Michael Wilson (Amy) and Tyler Wilson; and his cherished grandchildren: Kenzley, Micah, Ivy, and Alaina
Timothy also leaves behind his nieces, Kelly Tillman and Shelby Jordan; nephews, Troy Wilson (Morgan) and Gerald Tillman; as well as numerous uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A dedicated employee of Alabama Power, Timothy was known for his strong work ethic and the camaraderie he shared with his coworkers, many of whom he considered family. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Above all, his greatest pride was in being a father to his sons and a PaPaw to his grandchildren — who were the absolute joy of his life. He was, in every way, a loving and faithful husband, father, and grandfather.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate doctors and nurses at USA Providence Hospital, and to his Alabama Power Family for their support and care.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Pierce Creek Cemetery, with Pastor William Dunnam officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Tyler, Jeff, Troy, Gerald, and Kevin. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be his grandson, Micah.
Timothy's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
