Walter "Wayne" West, Sr.,  age 76, a native of Waynesboro, MS and a longtime resident of Mobile passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisie Finch West, Son, Robin Williams, sisters, Carol West Landry, Betty Sue Hall, Patsy Knowles, and parents William Walter and Edith Mae West. 

He is survived by his children, Dianne West (Robert Lee) Stewart, Walter Wayne (Ruth) West, Jr., Christopher James (Shania Weaver) West, Annette West (Juan) Miliken, Tammy (Mark) Lambert, Jimmy (Kelly) Roebuck, Patrick Roebuck, Becky (Edwin) Wilson, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sisters, Roxie West Jones, Marlene West Jackson, Dot (Don) Garrick, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 12 noon with visitation from 10 am until service time.
