William Paul Arndt

William Paul Arndt, was born to Bonnie Mae Leatherman and William "Bill" Paul Arndt in Torrance, CA. William, later better known as "Billy", grew up in sunny southern California and staked claim to Venice Beach, CA. His father Bill, a lifelong resident of Venice Beach, made sure a piece of them stayed there where they are both known to be the happiest. William Paul Arndt Jr. was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie, his father William, and nephew Kyle. He is survived by two sisters: Rebecca Sue "Becky" and Brenda Lee: nieces and nephews Kerri Lynn, Derek, and Chad. Billy is survived by three children: Ashley Antoinette, Skylar Blue, and Kamden James. As well as four grandchildren; Luke Matthew, Cheyenne Daisy Sue, Zellie Mae, and Violet Ann.

    Billy was and always will be known as one of a kind. He lived and loved so hard in this life. Even though he was born with typical surfer dude thick blonde hair he was known for many decades to shave his head or have very very little hair. Even with this tough guy exterior he could make friends with almost anyone. He had an innate ability to make a room burst into laughter. Just like his father before him; Billy had a very particular laugh that would have you smiling and laughing along. Billy lived a lot of life. He always had a special knack for getting himself into crazy situations. No matter the situation: from a capsizing boat in Mexico, to a runaway rented moving truck, to boarding down the hilly streets of Los Angeles, to being stabbed, or even run over with a jeep, or probably anything thing else you could imagine he was able to always come away smiling and laughing. He would then tell anyone who would listen a grandiose story that sometimes defied logic,  but was sure to get a laugh. Billy was known for many different things by many different people from all walks of life. Billy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. That has to be Billy's greatest legacy. Billy will be deeply missed by so many. May he forever rest in peace.
